Plain words about what FitBest keeps.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist we keep your email and the date you joined. Only the person who runs FitBest sees them. We use your email once, to invite you, and delete it whenever you ask.

Analytics

We count visits with Rybbit, which runs on our own server, sets no cookies and keeps no personal data.

Error reports

When something breaks, the app and this site send an error report to Sentry, which also runs on our own server. A report says what failed and where in the code, with your account's ID but not your name, email, photos or what you logged. Reports are deleted after 30 days.

In the app

Your account keeps your name and email, the details you give for your targets (sex, birth date, height, weight, activity and goal), and what you log: meals with their photos and descriptions, workouts and weights.

When you speak a meal, your voice is turned into text on your phone. The audio is never sent or saved; only the text goes to FitBest, like a typed description.

Meal photos and descriptions are stored privately in your account. They are sent to an AI model only to estimate the meal. A meal without a photo gets a drawing made from its name alone, shared by everyone who logs that dish. Deleting a meal deletes its photo. When you log photos from your gallery, the app reads the time each one was taken, on your phone, to put the meal on that day; the photo is uploaded without its other details, such as where it was taken. Meal photos you take with the camera in FitBest are also saved to the gallery on your phone.

Progress photos, if you take any, are stored privately in your account with their date and weight. Only you see them: they are never sent to an AI model or used for estimates, and they are not saved to your phone's gallery. Deleting one deletes it, and deleting your account deletes them all.

Meal and streak reminders are set and scheduled on your phone; their times are never sent to FitBest.

Everything travels over encrypted connections, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.
